in the end I had to drive to Sydney with my baby to take care of the items. I contacted them with the agent’s comments as they guarantee you’ll get your bond back and then they were refusing to clean these items and said they would only wipe the toilet which they wanted me to provide photographic evidence 🤦🏻♀️😩and there would need to be additional charges for the remaining items. It’s hard for me to come to Sydney with a 7 month old so I said fine charge me extra! Then when the agent inspected the place she requested the pantry to be cleaned as the top was left dusty (it’s an unusually low pantry so you can see the top), the toilet wasn’t wiped properly, and the fly screen was left unclean (which is part of the sliding door in our balcony, which is included as 1x sliding door of one balcony is part of the end of lease clean). Salaries, reviews, and more - all posted by employees working at Spotless Cleaning. Then they said that for the pantry to be wiped I would need to pay them extra. See what employees say its like to work at Spotless Cleaning Services. Firstly they arrived late even though I explained my dad would let them in before his work and hence they needed to be on time. I booked everything through them, the clean, the carpet steaming. More like Simply Stressful 😩😰😣We moved from Sydney to Central Coast and needed our apartment to be cleaned for end of lease. There were 3 guys there for 5 hours and it cost me $1,500 and I had to pay a separate carpet steam cleaner to come in and do a proper job ($300).If you want to be overcharged for poor cleaning, terrible customer service and deal with an unethical company, go with Simply Spotless. I have sent photos of the poor cleaning (that the landlord took) and so far, no response from Simply Spotless.

Simply Spotless continued to argue with me and I have asked for the “extra charges” to be refunded to me due to the unsatisfactory job, but all they keep saying is that I authorised the extra charges and that they require photos of the unclean areas. She did a great job in under 2 hours and in her opinion the carpets had NOT been steam cleaned at all. I had to go to Airtasker and get a carpet steam cleaner to come in (another $300). When I challenged Simply Spotless on these issues, they pointed me to the Terms and Conditions which stated that they don’t do commercial carpet steam cleaning, only “residential” - whatever that means. The carpet was wet but was NOT cleaner and the upstairs bedroom carpet looked untouched, with dust and hair everywhere.

Upon inspection, the oven was clean and the windows were done well, but the bathroom had hairs in drain and shower recess, kitchen skirting not clean, dirty light switches and carpet was NOT steam cleaned at all.

But then they charged me $533 extra for kitchen and bathroom and windows (inside only) and 3 more areas of carpet steam cleaning. The checklist indicated all the areas to be cleaned – it looked good and what you would expect for a high price that they estimated. WORST EXPERIENCE EVERI was given and estimate of $955 for Exit/Bond cleaning of my 3BR townhouse, including carpet steam cleaning of 5 areas (3BR + 2 living areas).
